I made up for it tho, by throwing in some Jay-Z haha. I need to get some better editing software and a better camera wouldn't hurt.

I'll have a video up soon of the crap I filmed that is no wheres near as good but, it was all about the fun on this day and Nick Willison's memory! Thanks to Nick Marzolino, John Sexton, KB and, NIKE 6.0 for all there effort put into this. I was there in the trout pond trail days and I'm sure Nick Willison was smiling down on this event stoked on what NV has become. There will be a JAM every year too celerbrate Nick's memory and too help keep the park maintnained. Thanks too everyone that showed and there support for our sport and NICK W!

New Spot?

Doesn't look like this wall has been ridden..no tire marks at all. Well maybe a few from me now when I attempeted to wallride it. Curved wallrides are a lot harder then I thought haha. The wave ledge is pretty fun though I rode that for a bit. I found this on my way to the city right before the Delaware Water Gap.

Long day..

So, no pics of the NV skate park today..I just got back home now from work, at 9pm from Hornell, NY so it was too dark for pics..But I did hear that a pyramid was being built today which is sick cuz I've missed the Owego one every since it was washed away. I'll have pictures tomorrow if everything goes to plan at work. While on lunch break in Hornell though, I went and rode the skate park they have there. It's a nice little park to ride..and it was definitely a funner way to spend my lunch break

Skatepark project Day 4

I did a good job of eatin shit pretty good today but, the trails are runnin..they still need a lot of work but it was fun. The big wedge coming off from the side of the mini needs to be surfaced and it will be done. Then, I think theirs going to be a down ledge on the backside of it. It's really coming together great, so stoked on this park.

Skatepark project Day 3

Little rain today but the Mini/Spine ramp as almost done..everything is looking great. The deck that was put on today is massive and will have a wedge coming off from the side with a possible down ledge making it perfect for a hip into or out of the mini. It will be perfect too jump right into the trails off from the mini deck too, which is pretty kick ass. so stoked on this!! the possibility's are endless..hell yah for Skidmark!! haha

Never had anything We The People before so I don't know how good their shit is but, this frame looks sick..if it comes with removable brake mounts this is deff my future frame. Another plus is its Max Gaertig's & Mike Brennan's split signature frame so its gota be tuff.

Road Trip with KB

Took off from Newark Valley Friday afternoon on a mission to get to kellys buddy's house to stay the night and then take off to Woodward in the morning. Well about half way there, on the 3hour drive, we rolled into Rockys skate park. It was an unexpected stop but that's what you expect with KB, the unexpected. Got to meet rocky..who is a super nice dude and rode the park VIP style. Rocky's is a super fun park and its definitely worth making a trip too. After that we loaded the bikes up and were off to Tommy T's. When we arrived we got welcomed to a nice little fire and some real chill people. 30 rack of PBR into it..it was time to pass out and wake up for Woodward the next day. The next morning I woke up to an inch of water in my tent from all the dew and it was about 40 degrees out I think..kidding, but it was for sure colder than shit out. KB woke up all nice and dry out of his tent that was perched on top of the box jump..that bastard. So after getting up we downed some coffee and red bull and headed out through Amish country too Woodward. Arriving at Woodward was kind of overwhelming once you realize how massive it really is. We payed our 35 bucks and got our shred on. We hit up the rock first which was really fun. The ledges their are like butter. Then we hit up little dirt with the baker kids. Sure enough though 2 hours into our long awaited destination it began to rain. So everyone piled in lot 8..it was fun until the crowds kept pouring in. Needless to say with the amount of people at Woodward this day all in lot 8..it was way to frustrating to ride. So after some wondering around we got to sneak into cloud 9 VIP style where the owner to Woodward was observing some of the pro riders. It was a sight to see for sure. After a few hours of chillen their we decided to make the long trip back home. It was unfortunate that it rained but it was definitely worth the experience.
Here are a few photos from the trip..I really didn't get a chance to film much or take pics because I didn't want to waste any riding time and its a good thing I didn't..fuckin rain....

Nike Vs KB/NV

So we all know that 3 years ago Nick Marz won the Nike contest for a backyard mini ramp. Well now it's time for Nike to hold true to their promise, now that we have the park paved, and they are totally backing out. Thinking that sending us riders/skaters from NV shoes is going to make up for them not holding true to their promise of a mini ramp in NV. WE raised $10,000 dollars to get that park paved..sure we were going to do it anyway..but we had the thought of a kickass mini that was going to be built there for us to ride in fall. Now these big timing fucks are going to back out? jesus Nike if you wanted to make headway in the bmx community you ought to hold true to your word. I was always skeptical about Nike entering bmx thinking that they would just throw around money to make it look like they cared about our sport. Turns out I was right, they are all image and not about US and the sport of bmx. Last week in the city I had some time to go to Manhattan..My co worker and I were going to go check out the statue of liberty. We ended up missing the fairy to take us over by 5 mins. damn. So then we went and checked out the WTC ground 0. Pretty phenomenal place..I could not believe the size of the area where they stood. It will make you think. Then I sloped at J&R got a tripod for the camera so should be filming a little..nothing special yet. Well after that we took the subway back to our hotle in Brooklyn. Flick on the tv and see, on the news, that there was a fairy crash. 15 injured. I guess it wasn't too bad, worse injury was a dislocated elbow. But damn if I were on that fairy and got hurt I'd be a rich SOB. All good tho didnt get hurt and got to check out the banks. Next week I plan on riding there for the first time. :)
